Our home city and our own address. Downtown offices, professional and medical suites, retail plazas at the north end, schools, and the plants and warehouses out in the east end industrial parks are all a short run from Rye St. Most of that work is a nightly or weekly janitorial and office cleaning program, with floor and carpet work scheduled around it.
Lindsay
The largest centre in the City of Kawartha Lakes, and the far end of our Highway 7 run to the west. Municipal buildings, professional offices off Kent Street, clinics, schools, and an industrial park give us a mix of nightly programs and scheduled hard floor care in buildings that see a lot of public traffic.
Havelock
East of the city on Highway 7, where the summer traffic heading to the lakes passes through the main street. Village businesses, the community centre, and the industrial and aggregate operations north of town need cleaning that suits a building rather than an office tower, including pressure washing and exterior cleaning once winter lets go.
Bobcaygeon
Up on the Trent-Severn system, and a town with two seasons. Shops, marinas, and restaurants fill through the summer, while care homes, clinics, and municipal buildings carry on year round. Seasonal sites often want a heavy reset before opening weekend and a lighter regular cleaning program once the season is under way.
Selwyn
The township just north of the city, taking in Lakefield, Bridgenorth, and Ennismore. Township offices, schools, clinics, and lakeside businesses sit a few minutes apart up Highway 28 or over the Chemong causeway, so one crew can cover more than one site in a night. Entrance glass takes a beating this close to the water, which is work for our window and glass cleaning.
Omemee
The village on Highway 7 between Peterborough and Lindsay, so it sits directly on the road west out of the city. Main street businesses, a school, farm and trade operations, and community buildings here tend to want a set weekly visit rather than nightly service, plus commercial carpet cleaning a couple of times a year.
Norwood
East on Highway 7 in Asphodel-Norwood, a village with a fairground, a main street, a school, and agricultural and trade businesses around it. Buildings here work hard and get dirty from the outside in, so entrance matting, floors, and washrooms carry most of the program, with disinfection of high-touch surfaces where the public comes through.
Hastings
On the Trent River at the lock, at the southeast edge of our area. Marina and waterfront businesses, the main street, seniors' housing, and municipal buildings make up most of the work, and river-town buildings bring in a lot of grit, which is a job for regular floor maintenance and entrance care.
